DART-SD410 Ubuntu Host Install

Host requirements installation.

The host development environment for Linux is based on Ubuntu, please install Ubuntu version 14.04 64bit LTS http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop

Installing Repo

The following command installs repo:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ mkdir ~/bin
$ export PATH=~/bin:$PATH
$ curl https://storage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo > ~/bin/repo
$ chmod a+x ~/bin/repo

Installing the Device Tree Compiler

Install Device tree compiler using:

$ sudo apt-get install device-tree-compiler libfdt-dev

Getting the skales tools

Install Device tree compiler using:

$ cd ~/bin
$ mkdir skales
$ git clone https://git.codelinaro.org/clo/qsdk/oss/tools/skales skales
$ export PATH=~/bin/skales:$PATH

Install fastboot and ADB

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot

Install GIT

Please provide correct credentials during git initialization.

$ sudo apt-get install git
$ git config --global user.email "you@example.com"
$ git config --global user.name "Your Name"
