At the heart of the VAR-SOM-AM62 is a TI AM62x SoC with a 1.4 GHz Quad Cortex™-A53 CPU, and 400 MHz Cortex-M4F and 333 MHz PRU real-time co-processors. The SoM combines a scalable CPU, energy-efficient architecture and advanced graphic capabilities. The SoM offers an ideal solution for industrial embedded products due to rich connectivity features such as certified single or dual-band Wi-Fi, BT/BLE 5.2, 3× CAN bus, dual GbE, audio, camera in and dual USB. The VAR-SOM-AM62 supports industrial operating temperatures, an integrated GPU and dual LVDS display interface. The VAR-SOM-AM62 is compatible with the VAR-SOM Pin2Pin family: starting from the entry-level i.MX6UL/6ULL/6ULZ platform, through the i.MX 8M NANO/MINI/PLUS, i.MX 93 and i.MX8X, and up to the i.MX 8QuadPlus/8QuadMax high-performance platforms.
